Logo Intro Maker

Logo intro in your video editor.

Export once, then drop the intro into Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Final Cut Pro or CapCut: an MP4 for the start of your timeline, or transparent PNG frames to lay your logo over your own footage.

The simple way: the MP4

The MP4 is standard H.264 video, so every common editor opens it: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, iMovie, CapCut and the editors on your phone. Drop it at the start of your timeline like any other clip.

  • Frame rate: export at your project's rate (24, 30 or 60 fps) so the cut into your footage stays smooth.
  • Shape: 16:9 for YouTube and most edits, 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, 1:1 for square posts.
  • Size: 720p free with a small corner watermark, 1080p on Personal, 4K on Pro.
  • Sound: Soft sweep or Bright whoosh goes inside the MP4. Pick No sound if your edit has its own music.

Over your footage: transparent PNG frames

To lay the logo over your own footage, choose Transparent PNG ZIP as the format. The ZIP holds one folder with a numbered PNG for every frame, a README with the steps below, and the sound as a WAV file if you picked one. Extract the whole ZIP first and keep the file names as they are.

Transparent frames are free to try at 720p with a lunebit.com mark across the middle; Pro exports them without it, up to 4K. Glow is left out of transparent frames because it needs a background to shine on, which matters most for Neon. Start the WAV on the same frame as the first PNG.

Premiere Pro

  1. File > Import, select the first PNG in the folder, tick Image Sequence and import.
  2. Right-click the clip in the Project panel, choose Modify > Interpret Footage and set Assume this frame rate to the rate you exported at (it is in the README).
  3. Put the clip on a video track above your footage, and the WAV on an audio track starting at the same frame.

DaVinci Resolve

  1. On the Media page, open the option menu (…) of Media Storage and make sure it shows image sequences as one clip, not as individual frames (Show Individual Frames off). Set this before you import.
  2. Add the folder's sequence to the Media Pool. Right-click it, open Clip Attributes and set the video frame rate to the rate you exported at and Alpha Mode to Straight.
  3. On the Edit page, place it on a track above your footage, with the WAV underneath.

After Effects

  1. File > Import > File, select the first PNG and tick PNG Sequence.
  2. In Interpret Footage, set Alpha to Straight - Unmatted and Assume this frame rate to the rate you exported at.
  3. Drop it into your composition above the footage, with the WAV on its own layer.

Final Cut Pro, iMovie, CapCut and phone editors

Use the MP4. It is the simplest route in Final Cut Pro and iMovie, and CapCut and phone editors generally import PNG frames as separate pictures rather than one timed clip.

To float the logo over footage anyway, set the Background colour to pure black (#000000) before you export, place the MP4 above your footage and set its blend mode to Screen: the black disappears and the glow stays. Darker parts of the logo turn see-through too, so this suits bright looks such as Neon, Chrome or Gold rather than Clean. In CapCut the blend mode is under the clip's Blend setting; Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve have one as well. iMovie doesn't.

Questions

My PNG frames import as hundreds of separate pictures. What went wrong?

Extract the whole ZIP, keep the file names unchanged and import only the first frame with the image-sequence option ticked (Image Sequence in Premiere Pro, PNG Sequence in After Effects). In DaVinci Resolve, turn off Show Individual Frames in the Media Storage option menu before importing.

Why is there no glow in the transparent version?

Glow is a light effect drawn onto the background, so transparent frames leave it out. If you want the glow over your footage, export the MP4 on a black background and use the Screen blend mode.

Can I use the transparent version in CapCut?

CapCut generally imports PNG frames as separate pictures rather than one timed clip, so use the MP4. For a logo over your footage, export on black and set the clip's Blend to Screen.

Is the transparent export free?

You can try it free at 720p; those frames carry a lunebit.com mark across the middle. Pro exports transparent frames without the mark, up to 4K.
